THE STUDIO / COG MACHINA

Curiosity with
working parts.

Cog Machina, LLC is an independent software studio. We build ambitious software, give complicated ideas a clear form, and stay close to the work after it ships.

01 / OUR STORY

One world started the gears turning.

It started with Ravenbreath™: an ambitious idea for interactive fiction with characters that actually remember, in worlds that actually persist. Building it meant building everything — the conversation runtime, the authoring tools, the moderation layer, the deployment machinery.

That work became Cogworks: the engine underneath Ravenbreath, now offered as a managed platform for partners with their own worlds, voices, and audiences.

DamagePort™ came next, built for a different kind of complexity: documenting a property claim. The category changed; our instinct did not. We organize messy, consequential work into a system people can understand and use.
